Time with the Younger Children

Every 10:00 AM liturgy includes a special message for the children of the church. All children begin the liturgy in the sanctuary with their parents or guardians to hear Pastor Ayers, and one of his many puppets, deliver an lesson based on the liturgical theme for that day. The message is sure to bring a smile or a laugh to the kids and the adults, all the while reinforcing the fact that the church is a community united by faith made up of many ages.

Third Graders Receive Their Bibles

Each year, Covenant presents Bibles to our third graders. The children are always excited to receive this gift from the congregation, knowing that in the coming months they will be learning how to use them in Sunday School. The ceremony brings together the third graders, their parents, and the other young children in the church to emphasize that a supportive community of faith surrounds them with love as they journey in faith.
